The Penticton Volleyball Club is pleased to invite all volleyball players from 11 years old to adult from Penticton and surrounding communities to come join our volleyball club!

Our season starts in January 2010 and will run until April 2010. Some age groups may run into the month of May for National Championships.

We are very pleased to have Cory Hilditch as our Head Coach/Coordinator. Cory has many years of experience in playing at the College level and winning gold in U20 at the National Volleyball Championships in 2004.

The Penticton Volleyball Club will be offering three types of programming:

• Elite Programme- (U15 to U18) - designed for athletes to compete at the highest level possible
• Developmental Programme- (U12 to U15) -designed to continue skill development, introduce physical training and participate in a competitive game environment. 
• Adult Competitive Programme (18+) - female and male teams at a competitive level.

TRYOUTS

TRYOUT DATES: All tryouts will be held on November 23, 24 and 30 and Dec 2, 2009.

TRYOUT LOCATION: Skaha LakeMiddle School
TRYOUT TIMES: U12 and U14- 6:00pm to 7:30pm ..... U15 and up- 7:30pm to 9:00pm

* Please note changes to tryout dates- additional dates will also be added at the tryouts

Note: try-outs at all levels of the Developmental Programmes are to determine best team in accordance to skills for each player within each age group and all applicants will be placed in an appropriate level team.

• U12 – BORN IN 1998 or later
• U14 – BORN IN 1996 
• U15 – BORN IN 1995
• U16 – BORN IN 1994
• U17 – BORN IN 1993
• U18 – BORN IN 1992
